WEBSITE AND SERVER POLICY: The Bailey Hortorium webpages, including all pages served through the Herbarium and residing on our server, have a strict policy of not tracking users (see below regarding the voluntary exception for interactive HERBARIUM GAMES). We do not use cookies. We do not record any identifiable information from the user, and only record anonymous IP addresses for the purpose of tracking users geographically, and the nature of the device used to help us improve our interfaces. We do not store sensitive information on this server. We do not share any information with any other websites outside of our servers.
SEPARATE GAME POLICY: The Herbarium Games are tracked by IP and cumulative scores, so that users, IF YOU CHOOSE TO OPT IN, you may set up a game account and keep track of game scores via a database on our server. This information will not be shared unless the user decides to allow their scores to be posted. We also use this information to improve our games, by evaluating particular questions for difficulty.
