Usually seen as a house plant, the Cardboard Cycad is a part of the Cycad family which is one of the oldest plant groups in the world. This plant receives its common name from the overly rigid leaves that it sprouts that resemble cardboard material.
Horticultural notes: This plant is fairly easy to grow within full sun or shade, but cannot be grown in constant deep shade.
