Carl Gustav Alm was an early 20th Century Swedish botanist and educator in Kiruna, Sweden. He later was employed at the Botanical Museum of Uppsala and directed the Linnaean Garden (Uppsala) beginning in 1931. Alm's interests were in phytogeography and taxonomy, and he published several monographs on Ericaceae (Blaeria, Erica, Philippia) among other taxa. |
